Research: Secondary Audience

Although we have established that our target audience is young girls generally aged 13-19 there are other sections of the public that enjoy listening to Pixie Lott. 


This can occur with many artists for example Lady GaGa's target audience is mainly young females however she also has a big audience for homosexual males. 

For Pixie Lott, her secondary audience would be women in their 20's or even slightly older. Even though she will mainly be played on shows like Radio 1 and Rock FM, Radio 2 might play her new songs occasionally who attract an older audience. This is because, the genre of British Pop appeals to such a wide spread audience ranging from children to adults so artists similar to Pixie who's music uses this genre will be bought by a range of people.
